Can't say it enough....THANK YOU for posting all these great old photos and postcards ;)

Haven't been to Crystal Lake since a small child early 60's. Just curious if anyone has been out there since the fire? Last I heard the roads were closed but that was a while back. I was thinking it might be a nice drive and way to spend the day in the near future.

Its amazing the store didn't burn down.

Road is still closed and will remain so for some time. You can take SR 39 only as far as the East fork.

this picture was around 1955 they're posed for the beard growing contest for the 4th of July celebration. Recognize anyone??? To name a few Don Boylin (my dad) Emil Blum, Mr Blanton, And Earl Imboton(Owned the Pine Manor) and more I'm not sure of. Anyone put a name to the faces? This picture was taken where then was a vacant lot across from the Pine Manor.

This is the front of the old laundromat. It's right across from the old Evergreen Motel . Still there but a Real Estate office now

old wrightwood elementry school class picture 4th 5th and 6th grades in one classroom. Mrs Goodspeed was also the principal. My brother Denny is on the upper left corner.

Taken in 1953 behing the old Blanton house on Edna.That's the red house where half of it burned down a few years ago. We lived in the side that burned down.
