This was our cabin on The corner of Victorville and Irene. The people that live there now have totally rebuilt it and have done an excellent job.I have had the pleasure of meeting with them .

The guys were the Shalls. They lived on the Turkey ranch on the other side of the hill . Spent lots of time at their ranch riding

WOW!!! I've lived up here since 1989 and I've always wondered what Wrightwood looked like back in time.  Does anybody have any old pictures of Clyde's Ranch when the gas station was still open?  Great pics. ;D

this is my mother Irene Boylin leaving the laundromat after a hard days work. This was around 1953 to 1954 before  the cesspool kept overflowing so they had to close it

What a nice looking lady... surely she must have a wonderful family

I have a couple of old WW photos, one of them of Big Pines with the arch and really, really old cars and the other one a couple of people with part of the our old zoo in the background taken during winter.I'd love to share them here but I dont have a scanner yet, if someone would want to add them for me that would be great!
**the make/model of the cars should be able to date the photos.

I'd be more than happy to scan and post them.

Send me an email or PM so we can arrange it.

Beautiful photos of Big Pines.  The animal park picture is the best one I've seen.  I'd guess the cars parked in front of the building are 1928-30. What a fun place Big Pines must have been in the early years!
