Thanks for the map Wrightwood.  That's great information.  Our cabin is 2.5 blocks off the fault-line there, and here, we're about 30 miles away.
We were in WW when the Northridge quake took place (6.7 on Jan 17, 94) and our place was dancing.  No damage but a real wakeup call.  The cabin was bouncing so much that our chandelier chain had "slack" in it.  I'm still amazed that our neighbors' rock chimney was still standing.
