No, but my dad is (they live in the SG valley).  They have a garden railroad in their backyard (Daylight, SP, ATSF, ICE0, Model trains (H) displayed in cases in their home. There was a guy on Sparrow that also had a garden railroad but I am told he passed away several years ago and they took the trestle down, but left some of the buildings/tracks.

I am into O scale, collect mostly Lionel. SP and UP steam era. Old logging and mining too.

My grandson will be eventually lol. He's a train maniac, we go to every railroad museum or event we can find.

I know this is an old thread.. My dad retired and moved to this place. I hear he has a couple engines and a caboose he made. I'm told most of the engines are gas powered.  I asked him why not steam.. he says the guys that have steam engines spend about 4 hours getting them ready (heating them up)  before they can actually cruise around on the tracks.  I need to get up there and check it out.
