I'm way overdue in giving an update to everyone about my Bosch dishwasher that gave me an error code and stopped working. After having a bad experience with a Sears repairman who told me that he couldn't work on it because there was no identifying tag on the inside front door, I pulled it out from under the counter and discovered that the tag is in the back of it. Go figure. Why would they put it there if it's an under-the-counter unit? So I took a picture of the tag and from now on, no repairman can refuse me.
In any case, the problem was that it wasn't filling completely due to a clogged water intake hose (darn hard water), so I called Campbell's appliances and his employee did a good job replacing it (shout out to Dan!) and later I discovered that I had to buy a new washer to keep it from leaking into the bottom of the unit, which I was able to replace myself. And now, my Bosch is working like a charm. But I expect that with our hard water, my new intake hose will clog again several years from now. At least I'll know what to replace.
When we finish all the "Finish" gel pods we have, I'd like to try the Cascade Platinum Dishwasher ones. Thanks, Bob C., for that recommendation.
