Acceptable vs Unacceptable Forum posting
« on: Nov 04, 02, 04:39:32 AM »
The forum has been a very busy place during it's first few years. While we respect someone's right to free speech, the forum was setup to help the community be a better place.

We've made some tuff decisions on what is acceptable and what is not. We have the right to remove objectionable content.

When a post accuses someone with specific details - it is not acceptable.

Such as:
- naming a specific company or individual by name. Accusing them of speeding or reckless driving or other wrong doing.

- Listing someone's license plate number and accusing them of this or that. Posting someone's address, phone number, PO box or other similar specific details. It's not always an individual post that becomes an attack but sometimes a combination of posts.

- Material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law.

Yes photos have been posted of people passing over a double yellow lines, that had a license plate numbers showing. We feel it portrays an event that took place and isn't an accusation.

All forum members have accepted the following Forum agreement before completion of their membership:

If you are the type of person that likes to get into deep controversial topics or discussions such as war vs anti war, religion, politics, abortion, etc. then this is not the right place for you. There are plenty of other spots out there where a person can say anything they want and is encouraged.

Now that the election is over this forum will return to it's normal policy of providing content primarily focused on community and  surrounding areas. Highly controversial topics will be removed without notice.

D. No Trolling.
What is a troll? It's a person who posts something which is bound to stir people up and then sits back and watches as dozens of people jump in and start arguing. Sometimes trolls get their friends to join in or post under different names. Generally they will do anything it takes to get attention. If you see a message like this, please try and refrain from replying to it - it may well be deleted anyway.
