Local HF SDR

(1/1)

ak7v:
Hello,

I've put my SDR (software defined radio) online here:
http://ak7v.hopto.org:8073/

Go ahead and give it a try.  It will let you listen to HF from 0-30MHz.  I've got a small magnetic loop antenna.  The performance is decent on the lower frequencies.

The SDR interface has some neat decoders you can try for fax, rtty, etc. under "extensions."

If you're a ham on HF, you can use it to listen to yourself and see how you sound in Wrightwood.

There are a whole network of these radios online all over the world.  Check out http://kiwisdr.com/public/

Jason

Edited to add: I've had reports that Internet Explorer doesn't work.  Chrome and Firefox do for sure.

Hmm....
Doesn't work with my UIA connection but does work with a VPN or a Sprint Hot Spot (Firefox)

Yeah I had to switch to a vpn. Forgot UIA has client isolation.

Interesting, I'm with UIA also.
