My cat cruzer plays fetch too!! Sometimes we play for 30 minutes... Each time he chooses a different color mouse. He actually has a toy box that he goes thru to choose...
My Blue will fetch, as long as any human will toss his mouse. He gets so excited, he is always knocking his knees or hitting his head on something...though it really doesn't slow him down. Blue (and my other 5 cats) also have a toy box 'cylinder',
made out of clear plexiglass, that he chooses from...lots of pom poms, milk bottle plastic pullies ('spew's' as we call them), shoe strings, you know, cat treasures, my cats love them.
