Title: Grass & Slide Fire Conditions

DATE/TIME OF REPORT:          10/25/07            1850 Hours

The Grass Valley Fire is 70% contained with full containment expected by Sunday.

The Slide Fire is 15% contained.

      The American Red Cross Shelter at Victorville Fairgrounds will be closing at 4:00 p.m. today. Recreational vehicles will be moved to Mojave Narrows Regional Park.
    *
      Containment of the Slide Fire is currently 75%.
    *
      Containment of the Green Valley Fire is currently 95%.

Please help us broadcast and publish the following information. We are trying to reach evacuees who may be staying in various areas around Southern California.

The evacuated residents who are not staying in shelters may have temporarily relocated around our large county or even in other counties. We are asking for the media's help in broadcasting these informational numbers and Web sites that we have set up for the evacuees of the fires in the San Bernardino Mountains.
