If you are considering purchasing any ham equipment in the near future, now might be better than later to do it. Prices are going up! I just bought the Alinco DR-235T MK III that two weeks ago was $235 and is now $299. This was at HRO, however, the same unit at AES went up from $249 to $279.
The salesperson said that ALL manufacturers will be increasing their prices in the near future because of the value of the dollar overseas (Japan).
This month is Yaesu month at HRO and units like the VX-150 and VX-170 (both HTs) are still good deals at $115 and $117 respectively.
