Title: Weekend getaway ideas

So we just found out that Chester has the whole weekend off which never happens! My neice is up visiting and we were thinking about getting out of WW for a few days. Any ideas on where to go? Love to hike, love the beach, fishing.....

Camping, fishing at Jackson Lake, BBQ, Big Rock Creek, Hiking, and just enjoying to beautiful weather!!

Chester deserves the weekend off, (how did that happen?) hope you all have a beautiful weekend!

We are spending the weekend camping in Malibu!

Sagebrush, I suggest the Santa Barbara area. If you like camping (with hookups), go to Cachuma Lake. From there you have S.B. for the beach (1/2 hr) and Solvang for eateries (1/2 hr) and shops. The drive is easy but about 3 hours and you pass several fruit stands going through Filmore and Santa Paula areas on the 126.  8)

We are thinking about heading up to the Kern River for out trip. Were gonna head to Yosemite but Yosemite is really crowded right now and thats not really the trip we are looking for.

So off we go tomorrow....Ill post some pics :)
