"Where can Actinolite be found in our area? An article in a 1965 Trailways was written by Mark Frances Berkholtz, in it she provided a pretty reliable map of some of Actinolite's locations."

Or you can just go pick it up in the wash.

I used to just pick that stuff up in the wash, sometimes in my backyard when I lived there.

I even moved a big boulder of it all the way up here to WA.  ;D
Geologists will marvel at it thousands of years from now and wonder were it came from.

My piece of Wrightwood history that's been relocated to Washington. Although I need to dig it out as it's sinking.
