ARE THE BEARS COMING OUT YET?
WE HAD ONE IN QUARTZ HILL LAST WEEK.WE ALWAYS GET ONE EVERY YEAR IN THE AV VALLEY.THEY COME IN CLOSER EVERY YEAR.ONE WENT ALL THE WAY TO WALMART AND ENDED UP AT THE COCA COLA OFFICE,HE WANTED A SODA.....

Early Thursday morning, my husband and I heard a crash outside. It was our garbage can (it was empty because our trash gets dumped Wednesday morning ha-ha). Then half hour later our neighbor down the street's dog started barking. We are assuming it's a bear.
My neighbor says they come down upper Lark every year at this time. I keep reminding myself to look in the morning before I go out to the car. Hate to think of slamming the door and being face to face with one of them. I admire them, but at a distance.

On Friday I went into the gas station around 5:45am and they told me a bear had just walked by the gas station and then crossed the street and up into the hills.
