If anyone comes up with a higher resolution map of the closure let me know.

I just don't understand how they spend the effort to create and upload a map with out looking at it. Most all Station Fire maps that were posted on Inciweb were the same poor quality.

The Angeles National Forest still has current closed areas in effect with specific boundaries and maps that are found on their website.

yet some avid hikers knowing this, go into them anyway.

I think it's ridiculous the forest is still closed to foot traffic, I also don't care. I just think it's ridiculous.
If the trespassers get caught or need rescued fine the hec out of them. Other then that this is a victimless crime, to each their own on taking the risk.
but you're right it looks those guys new the area was closed
