If its not a real emergency, people should have to pay for their rescue. As to the rest of the issues, I don't know. I'm sure plenty here have well-informed opinions, tho, that I will enjoy reading. :2thumbsup:

This is horrible...
I can't believe these unprepared idiots would put others in danger like this. They should deffinately have to pay for these uneccesary rescues and be fined for their stupitity.

If this wasn't a family forum I'd post what I really feel   :brickwall:

This is worse than people who move to the forest and complain about bears getting in their trash and coyotes eating their cats.

I can't believe those father-son backpackers. 3 times? For nothing? I hope the citation came with some serious fines. That's just unbelievable.

That's beyond goomba.
These idiots are taking rescuers' lives in their hands, for the only apparent reason of "stupidity."
I've hiked the Grand Canyon North Rim to South Rim 3 times. Lots of preparation; no communication. We were on our own, and actually had to think. We never expected anyone to take care of us. We were the ones who decided to do the hikes.
Go figure.
They should stay home and hike on Wii.

Apparently, New Hamshire bills folks if they feel they have been negligent.
