Title: Vision Past: a bit of snow

According to the weather channel, snow's acomin'. It's a sure bet that the old Hwy 2, which was spruced up and newly opened...is about to close again. It shouldn't catch anyone by surprise...even with the pending mud slides that the Station Fire burn will cause.  Since its creation many decades ago, that back country road always took a beating from weather, and it always came back.

These photos of Hwy 2 at Vincent Gap came from the collection of Howard Rowe, they show that a "bit of snow" can create a headache or two:
