Title: 1986 Lone Pine Canyon Wash Flooding Photos
Post by: 3PinkRoses on Mar 08, 10, 03:24:53 PM
I came across some photos dated 03/1986 in the attic of the home I live in. They were accidently left by previous owner of this home. They are of Flooding in the Wash at Lone Pine Canyon. What's interesting is that it looks totally different than when it floods today. There about 8 of them total.
In 1986, it seems all the debris was of a much smaller scale. All the rocks and mud flow is so small compared to what type of large rocks and boulders come down from there now.
Does anyone have use for these photos? Anyone want them before I toss them? Maybe they would be of help to Cal Trans or SB Co? Let me know soon if you want them.

Never throw out ANY old photos of Wrightwood.  They are always wanted even if you don't think they're of any interest.   :2thumbsup:
