Title: Wrightwood transportation ?

How does anyone get around without a car?  It would be nice if our town had some means of local transportation.

How local?    Just into town or Phelan or further down the hill?

I know someone without access to a car during the week--'t'ain't easy. Especially at 7:45 in the morning. A network of friends is essential, esp for unexpected Drs. appt's.

On a related topic: does anyone know if any of the car/limo services to the airports (Ontario/LAX) do pick-ups in WW? If so, how expensive are they? Last year, we vacationed with friends who live in Upland. We left our vehicle at their house, where a car service picked us up and drove us right to LAX. A very stress-free way to start a vacation!  :2thumbsup:

There Victor Valley Transit Authrity offers  deviated bus service to and from Wrightwood. You just have  to call in advance. My cousin rides the from the Victorville Mall and arrives at the community center around 7:15 am and takes the bus back at 4:30 pm

I have used Supreme Car Service in Hesperia to/from ONT.  The owner is Julio, and he took very good care of me!  I was working in Kansas, and traveling back & forth from WW to ONT every three weeks.

I called several different companies in the Victor Valley to get price quotes on this service, and they were the ones that had the best price.
