Title: Cross country ski

Just out of curiosity...when it snows a lot, does anyone ever ski cross country around town? I think it'd be great exercise, but I wouldn't want to be the crazy lady skiing around town.  :)

Yeah. It's nice until those silly plows ruin the snow.  ;)
You can also take the lift to the top of Blue Ridge & ski on the road up there. And I like skiing around Table Mountain Campground.

someone is Xc skiing in the wash area near the slide.
I also saw some snowboard tracks ON THE SLIDE! they were amazing, you could tell 2 riders dropped in from the top!

With a big drop of new snow on old snow..not sure what a good idea that is...It is called a slide for a reason.
