Title: LA Times delivery
Post by: KathySC on Aug 31, 11, 07:51:53 PM
Has anyone else had a problem with delivery of LA Times this week?  Wondering if it's just me.

Did anyone else not receive their paper today?

I did not get mine yesterday or today and just called the LA Times.  There is a problem with delivery in the area and management is aware of the problem.  They credited me for yesterday and promise they will deliver today's paper with tomorrow's paper.  Of course, that will be old news! :o

Why get it delivered? I get on my I-Phone and I-Pad or on line. I've pretty much gone that route except for a few that are kept in the reading room  ::)

I didn't get mine yesterday, but got it today (Sat)

I just really prefer reading the big old paper a lot more than online.

Did not receive our Daily Press on Friday, but did today. Cathy McFadden is carrier and delivers more than 1 (type) of news
paper in her routes. Does she also deliver the LA Times? We've received another paper many times by mistake, the Desert Dispatch. She's been very, very good all these years, not sure what happened yesterday. Happy reading everyone!

I have read good things about the carrier but sadly I have not had the same experience. I used to get 3 papers at one point, but canceled due to the inconsistency of my paper delivery. It cost more but it's worth it for me, now I just prefer to buy it at Jensen's

According to the LA Times the driver experienced some sort of medical episode, drove off the road and was injured. They have a substitute but he doesn't know the area and hasn't been able to complete the deliveries.
