Too cool! We're big Tim Allen fans and still record old Home Improvement shows for when you just need a short show before going to bed, so we've been hanging in there with the new show as it "get's its feet under it" so to speak. I love the roots of the "XTT" and the dates on his certs.
Btw, in reality, its not "like" Bass Pro Shops, the vignette that they use to show the outside of the store really IS our very own Bass Pro Shop in Rancho, complete with snow capped San Gabriels behind it doing a great stand in for Colorado!!!

My wife and I are planning to go to a taping of the show when it resumes production early next year. This makes it more interesting to go watch.

I'll check this one out. Thanks!

Yep it's the same good 'ol Bass Pro Shop in Fontana with Hollywood's magical effects. We noticed that on the first show...... ahhh the smell of leather and gunpowder....oh ho ho ho ho (insert grunt were ever)
I saw Tim several times at the Comedy Magic Club in Hermosa Beach well before his first TV series. I've been a fan ever sense. Where do you think my screen name comes from ::) But I do what I do so it fits perfectly. Oh jeeze... now the copyright police have caught me.
However, just thinking outside of the box. Wouldn't it be a better promotion for the series if he actually took the initiative to actually get a "real" license instead of make believe. They could make real contacts with real hams around the world and exchange QSL cards. They could be collectible, How you ask? I sadly predict this series won't last as long as Home Improvement.
Also a little peeved that they were given a fictitious callsign that I'm sure they won't actually transmit, but I'll get over it and that's Hollywood's smoke screen at it's best.
I wish them all the luck though, it's a good show.

During last nights episode we noticed the Ham Shack setup in the background.
