Title: Saturday Hike

Like hiking?  Join us!  There will be an easy-paced Sierra Club hike this Saturday to explore the amazing backcountry south of Phelan!  Meet at 8:30 a.m. at Desert Community Bank in Phelan (4895 Phelan Rd at Johnson Rd.).  Hike for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.  Bring/wear hiking boots, layered clothing, daypack, water, snacks.  Friendly dogs welcome.  Sponsored by the Sierra Club's Mojave Group.  If you have any questions, post them here!

This sounds like fun especially if can bring my Golden Retriever and get off the mountain for a couple of hours.  Can you give anymore details about the hike location, trail or more specific information?

It was very nice! Check with the local Sierra Club for schedules.
