Today I watched a Cassin's Finch eating the blossoms on the apple tree in the front yard and he did not stop until his belly was full. I have never seen them do that before.
On top of that it was a very busy day at the bird feeders and bath with many species present. Today I had California Quail, Band-Tailed pigeons, Mourning doves, Northern Flickers, Acorn Woodpeckers, White Headed Woodpeckers, Nuttail's wood peckers (M and F), Chickadees, American Robins, White Crowned Sparrows, Oregon Juncos, Blackbirds.
Still waiting for the migratory birds to start arriving.

Today the Bullock's Oriole made an apperance at their feeder, both male and female were present. The like to nest in the trees around the house.
