Title: A tip for when the electricity goes out
Post by: tcaarabians on Oct 18, 16, 08:58:38 AM
I read this the other day and thought I'd share it.

Keep a cup of frozen water in the freezer with a quarter on it. If your electricity goes out and the water melts - the quarter will sink to the bottom of the cup. Even if the elec comes back on and refreezes the water, you'll know that it was out long enough for the food to thaw and you'll need to throw it out.

Don't throw out the quarter. hah. cheryl o7o
