Okay.
I'm surprised the results came out so fast.
I'm happy that so many people voted.
Now, let's make this thing work.
:2thumbsup:

What surprised me only 26% of the voters voted. So the 74% have no reason to complain on either way the vote went or if the CSD isn't what they like.
-
The sad part is that 26% is a high percentage for a typical election! Those that didn't vote, are normally the ones who say "my vote won't count anyway"
-
"It's our CSD now"--regardless of how we voted!
We should support it and the elected directors and hope for it's success....

Im happy it passed, at least Wrightwoodians have a say in something. The 26 percent is alot higher than the city of Los Angeles, only 12 percent voted in their elections and it was a mayoral election too, crazy.

To all my friends here on the WW Forum.. congratulations on passing a CSD. That was the easy part. Now, whether you voted Yes or No..do stay involved and give your new Board of Directors your feedback. The first few meetings or so are going to be consumed with housekeeping.. things like ..hiring a director & staff.. bank accounts.. retaining legal advice.. an office? .. what is the timing of the County releasing funds to the CSD? .. and so much more. You guys have fun now.. ya hear? cheryl o7o

Actually 26% is a really good turnout because there were no other items on the ballot. Los Angeles County only had an 11% return. i'm glad our residents took the time to vote.

Congratulations to the top notch group of people getting elected. Know them all, like them all, respect them all. Very pleased. Always my major concern, getting the right people in those positions.

Chuck, If you're the Chuck that ran for the Board and lost... that was a very classy message from you. cheryl o7o

Different Chuck. But it's still a classy message. :2thumbsup:

where can we find the results of the LA cty voting?
-
The County Registrar's website. The LATimes also had them. You can likely find it in their search engine. cheryl o7o
