Title: Frightwood on sign and not Wrightwood

Is there a number to call to get the F removed? It says Frightwood and back to a W on our entrance to Wrightwood sign
 With all our visitors coming soon, I think its something that needs to be corrected..anyone else notice this and want to get it fixed?

Knowing Caltrans it probably requires a permit to remove it  :)

Hopefully someone stops by and removes it. What is the nearest cross street?

Of course, they probably require a permit to put it there.  Is there a permit procedure for "unauthorized sign modifications?"

It's a shame that whoever made the change to the sign didn't take it down when the event was over. It must have cost taxpayers a pretty penny to send a maintenance tuck to fix the sign.

Caltrans responded back with this photo this morning:

Probably some of the same people that put up Yard Sale signs but fail to remove them.

 Yeah its gone..thank you for calling Caltrans.
Now if we can keep the yard sale people from putting their signs on stop signs that peel the paint off!...I know Im a "dreamer"
