Has anyone else noticed that the pines have been dropping a lot of sap all over the cars and yards for the last couple of months?
This generally doesn't happen in the winter.
One reason that pines expel a lot of sap during warmer months is to try to push out bark beetles.
But this is winter.
And the trees have not been taking in a lot of water.

I parked under a tree somewhere recently, and there are little sap droplets all over my car windows, and probably the car too. I'm not sure how to remove that. I think next time I go to Victorville, I'll go to the car wash and see if they can take care of it.

RUBBING ALCOHOL! Works like a charm!
Buy the cheap stuff at Big Lots or? Alcohol is alcohol.
It won't discolor or damage paint on your car and takes off pine tar in a heart-beat. I keep it and a brush for heavy-duty cleanup handy at the back door of our cabin to clean shoes before entry.
