Title: Fundraisers for community groups

I've been reading the pieces/letters, etc. in the MP about the difficulties some of the groups that use the community room are having due to the new fee structure.
I have only sparsely followed the WCSD budget issues involved in the decision to raise the fees. Would it be possible to have some sort of a fundraiser to raise funds for the community center?

How much would it take to offset the new fee structure for local groups?  There are a lot of events in WW. I don't know if this suggestion would be viable. Just a thought. Cheryl o7o

the fees were not raised, but some of the cost to use the facilities actually went down.
