Eerie photo's everyone but BEAUTIFUL and I thank you for posting them.

Woke up this morning here in Wrightwood and when heading out for my morning hike I could hardly see across the street due to the smoke. 
So sad for all those involved and I wish the fire crews the very best.

Again, thanks for the awesome photos.

#HolyFire: A damage assessment has confirmed 12 structures destroyed as of Wed. morning on the fire in Orange & Riverside Co. in SoCal. The incident management team did not specify if those were homes, outbuildings, or a combination of both.

An arrest has been made in relation to the Holy Fire. Forrest Gordon Clark, 51, was booked into Orange County Jail on August 8, 2018, on suspicion of two counts of felony arson, one count of felony threat to terrorize, and one count of misdemeanor resisting arrest.

Am I reading this map right? It looks like their evacuating east to the I-15. News said Painted Canyon is now mandatory evac. Are the areas north of Painted Hills under evac too? I have a friend in Lake Mathews.

No. Evacuations are all west of I15. Lake Mathews isn't near the fire. Just drove through and just south of Temescal is burning down the hill towards Horsetheif. A few neighborhoods in Elsinore are getting phoscheck on the roofs. Doesn't look like a good scene but I'm no expert and it's hard to tell from the valley.
