As of this morning Memorial Day 2019 a new 222 MHz Open repeater was placed in service on Blueridge. The callsign is N6LXX/R and operates on 224.14 MHz / 94.8Hz. It's on a minus (-) offset, standard on the 222 band. The box is an extension of the N6LXX Open All Star Linked Repeater System. The system includes repeaters on 6 meters, 222 MHz, 70cm and 902 MHz bands. They are located on several comm sites through out southern Cal and points beyond.
The owner/operator would appreciate signal and coverage reports especially from handheld stations. Preliminary reports indicate portables on "low" power with rubber flex antennas doing very well into it and hearing the return "with good copy".
