Title: New Camera
Post by: Tall Trees on Dec 11, 23, 09:06:13 PM: Some agency installed a twenty-foot tall four 4-inch diameter Metal pole set in concrete on the east side of Cardinal Street at the Swarthout wash. Neighbors were saying it was parr of the proposed emergency siren system that is being proposed, Others said it was a flagpole. Then I noticed it has a camera attached to the top of the pole aimed at the Swarthout Creek with a solar panel attached. Just wondering if anyone knows who installed the pole and camera and why.

I can say that SB County Flood Control has a network of cameras to monitor flows in creek beds and drainages around the county.
