Thanks for the welcome and Jim is very kind.....We do have lots of fun with those planes....Don't laugh too hard if you see us scrambling up a Pine tree to retrieve one of our beloved planes....

Thanks...this last gentle and persisting fall afforded generous time for the plants to show off their colors.. I Live in Running Springs, but work in Wrightwood. One thing you don't see in Running Springs are these climbing vines that turn bright red. (http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d198/redphox/red3reduced.jpg)

Those plants that climb and show off the neat colors are Virginia Creepers. Easy to grow...just take a clipping and plant it where you want it. In Spring, you'll have a climbing vine that really has outstanding Fall colors.

Hi Supermodel..... A telling picture.... Wind after a snow....Oak leaves hold on during the snow....but all leaves succumb to the wind.... Or.....perhaps The trashcan tipped over in the wind and your raking blew all over the place.
