I'm taking a lunch break and ecided to post.
We moved in in December and I finaly found time to get some antennas up today. ;D It does help to take some vacation time to get things done....and I couldn't think of any better place to be than here for a few weeks.
Nothing spectacular, just a simple dual band and 220 mono band Diamond base antennas. I'm going to head back out and install the scanner antenna and finish the coax runs.
My question is, where to obtain a listing for scanner frequencies for our area. I thought Clint or someone had posted a link at one time. A search turned up empty handed.
If no luck here, I'll search the web tonight.
I'll monitor Table 2mtr. 220 and 440 repeaters while I'm in my shop tinkering.

Mike,
I've been looking for antennas every time I pass your street.
Do you have trunk tracking ability on your scanner for the 800 freqs?
I'll email you a printout list that is currenty loaded in the online scanner.

Thanks John and Robert,
I have the dual band, 220, and scanner antenna up and fed into the garage and hooked up to the radios...that's where I spend most of my home time. I keep the handelds in the house 24/7.
In fact it's kinda funny, my wife and I use simplex ctcss encoded Ht's for comm. between the house and when I'm in the garage. What ever works...I guess.
I took another break this afternoon and deciced to go do some trail riding while the weather was nice. I'll finish the power hook up and cleaning up the install maniana.
My good scanner is in the Dodge, so my current older model scanner mounted in the shop doesn't have trunking capabilities.
John, I'll have a look later after dinner...
Thanks again,
Mike W.

On my list banks 1 & 2 are always active and include SB Fire, Angeles Forest, SB Forest, CDF, Calcord, Caltrans, DFG.
Bank 3 has CHP & LAC Sheriff but I don't usually listen unless there's a reason.
Bank 4 is a bunch of local stuff
Bank 5 was used during the Curve Fire
Bank 9 is the trunking & talk groups
