Title: Any info about Leo Carrillo?

My Dad swears up and down that my grandpa used to live in the same cabin that Leo Carrillo used to own years ago. Who is he? Was he a "founding father" of WW? And where was this house if anyone knows anything about him?

Leo Carrillo was an actor, preservationist and conservationist. He was born in Los Angeles on 8/6/1881 and died in Santa Monica on 9/10/1961. What his connection to Wrightwood was I don't know. You might want to search for more info via google. You'll find more there. Hope this helps.

I have heard his name in connection to Wrightwood before...

I think Old Sub said something about him once....?
