You may have finally shot the elusive Jesus Quail. ;) Nice Wildman!
Ok Wildman... was that with the new Kodak Instamatic you were bragging about ?
I am always amazed at how much snow can fall in Wrightwood. (and how many are night owls on the forum)
Can't be sure....it was a Stater's puppy. We were told Rottweiller and Blood Hound. Now isn't that a combination for a ranch dog!

Well where are the photos? ;D
Found this as I was transferring stuff to my new 24" IMAC. Put it on while waiting for the XMAS puppy to quit crying after being let out.
Thanks. The puppy is.....well a puppy!
I've been a part of the dark side since I bought the first Mac in 1984 with no hard drive....just two floppy discs. I ended up working for Apple for 3 years as a consultant helping create their State and Local Government Marketing channel.
I still have my first MAC II with a 40 MB hard drive. It was a dream come true....travel around the country evangelizing the Mac to cops and firefighters.
Thanks roseBud4000- What did you think of Mocha?Mocha is SOOOOO adorable!!! I wish i could see her right now :)
Gypsywolf-Sketchy wants nothing to do with the new dog...even though she is bigger right now. She avoids her completely. She'll come around eventually.
I'll put some more pics on shortly.
Just got a phone call from someone informing me that one of my hummingbird photos graces the entrance to a another local web forum (taken without my permission, of course). That, I guess, is the downside of putting your work out so others can see it. Someone is always lazy or feels that they should be able to use your work as they see fit.
Probably would been happy to give them permission but they never bothered to ask. Where I come from, we call that being a thief.
This Roadrunner was stalking a little chipmunk but missed in his blazing attack. Went from zero to mach 2 in a few feet.

Wrightwood has been good to our family. And you, sir, have been good to Wrightwood!! Thank you for your service!! :2thumbsup:
Over 22,000 on one drive and that is not counting the DVD's.
I use the 28-135mm for some of the birds that allow me to get close but 90% of the animal shots are with the 100-400mm.
