Title: Parking at 138/15 for carpooling
Post by: treehugger on May 08, 07, 10:01:41 AM
Wondering if anyone has any comments about the areas used for carpool parking around the 138 & 15 interchange. Is it safe? Do you need a permit/adventure pass?

Thanks!

Use to park in the dirt next to the 76 station when I car pooled. Never had a problem or heard of one, BUT.... you never know?

my husband parked by the 76 station for years, no problems.  There were a few times when cars were abandoned there.

Since it's not a designated park-n-ride, you'd be parking at your own risk.  Does anyone know if that lot is part of the 76 station?  I've never parked on that side before but I have parked on the street across from the new subway without incident.

It's part of the 76 sta. But it's been fenced off now.

we had a break-in one time parked next to the Del Taco. It was the day after Christmas several years ago. They stole our speakers and all of our (Christian) c.d.s!

Thanks for the comments. I was thinking about parking on the east side of the 15 by the N/B offramp.

Robilin - That's sad!
