The next CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training sessions are scheduled for May 26, June 2, and 9. The first session will be held at the Wrightwood Community Center from 9am to 4pm, and the two June sessions will be at the Wrightwood Methodist Church.
Our next class is not scheduled until the fall of this year, so this is a great opportunity to join the almost 100 residents of Wrightwood who are already certified as CERT team members.
We suggest you register early since we can only comfortably accommodate about 50 people for these of classes. If you wish to register, you can simply call 249-5124. The classes are free of charge, and are sponsored by FEMA. Those who complete all sessions receive a really neat CERT backpack, helmet and vest.
