Title: Fire in the Del Rosa area

there is a fire burning in the Del Rosa area.

Currently about 50 acres, and they say the fire retardant is holding the fire back.

God Bless the firefighters, and lets hope this ends quickly and uneventfully.

Any specifics on exact location?   ???

My mom lives in the Del Rosa area near
Highand Avenue & Golden.  I am concerned
for the safety of her home, etc.   :-\

All air tankers had been released an hour ago

The fire is mostly contained. Fire crews will remain on the fire tomorrow to finish mop up.

If needed, fire crews will also work through the night on Friday to ensure the fire stays contained.

Estimated control time is 1800 hrs. on August 3.
