video camera
« on: Jan 14, 10, 08:39:37 PM »

I need to borrow one, with a tripod, to video my kid playing soccer so college scouts can see her and make us rich.  Grin
Seriously, I need to video a few games. Anyone have one to lend?
I can barter my child's yard or house cleaning services....but she is a teenager.... Shocked

Under $300.
I need to be able to zoom in on my kid in a game as it's a requirement to have a video on a college recruiting website.
(Any help with college would be wonderful!)

Barter your child?  Maybe you could rent a video camera or try looking at one of those pawn shops.  For 300 dollars you could probably buy one. Huh

Bartering your child vs. bartering her services so she can obtain her goals are vastly two different things.  Nolena, teaching your child to respect earning her way is probably the best way to teach her independence.  I only wish there were more teenagers in town willing to do odd jobs, especially shovel snow.
I asked the neighbor boy if he was interested in shoveling, he looked at me with a face of terror.  The neighbors and I,  actually ended up helping him evacuate his car from Mt. Berm.  I should have taken pictures of how deep the plows actually buried the thing.

Thanks for the help, everyone.  Smiley
And special thanks to Chuck for helping me buy a JVC Everio G series GZ-MG730 hard disk camcorder.  Smiley

Now if I can just get a good recipe for the sticks & twigs I will be eating for the rest of the month until pay day....  Shocked
