The newest addition to our family, we've had Mei Mei about 3 weeks now.  A really cuddly Chihuahua-Dachshund mix

This is Clyde, our 20 pound boy-wonder.  He likes to play dress-up, will let you put just about anything on him.  Prefers Pleather, but this is a family forum so...

The othr three pets are a little camera shy, but maybe we'll find some old pix of them.

2cat...how do tou get him to sit still with those wraps and hats on him? LOL

Thanks Cinchy and WWMtnGal....You wouldn't believe how often we have to vacuum with those three longhairs. I think everything I own has at least 1 cat or dog hair on it somewhere.

I know what you mean about the hair!  When we had our golden retriever and it would shed, oh my goodness was there always a mess!

But you gotta love them!

This guy sheds more than any animal known to earth.  He doesn't just shed in fall and spring either.  It's CONSTANT!!!!

This is my first attempt at posting a picture so bear with me here.

Wonderful pic, goatgirl!  I still haven't figured it out, but I really haven't tried either.  Is it really easy?

"I will fill two or 3 big carpenter trash bags of hair before their winter coat is gone.Help "

Angelwolf, I recently purchased a grooming rake that is imported from Germany. I have 2 German Shepherds, one with long hair. The grooming rake works great....and makes their coat so shiny after raking them.  I am sure there are many places to buy them, here is the link to where I ordered mine.

I got my shedding blade at Target for $5.00, couldn't be happier with it.  It does a great job on dogs and cats, if you can get them to stand still long enough.  And on the cat, it gets almost all of him with each pass, which is why I like it more than the rake we had before.

I have two siberians and it is never ending, everything black I wear has white hair on it, even if it's fresh out of the dryer and not brought into the house.  LOL

I will fill two or 3 big carpenter trash bags of hair before their winter coat is gone.

Help  :-\

Spent $60 on a rake last weekend and It really gets that under coat out....
