Title: CHP Incident Command Vehicle
Post by: Wrightwood on Mar 28, 09, 08:41:14 AM
CHP identified a need for a more versatile and mobile platform to provide immediate response to emergency incidents. As a result, the Department purchased nine Chevrolet Tahoes. These vehicles were equipped and integrated with satellite, airborne video downlink, and interoperable communications equipment to allow the vehicle to perform as a mobile communications center, as well as provide internet access, satellite surveillance, and a command and control system display.

Well it should only be a few years before "Wrightwood" has purchased one of these at a state auction for pennys on the dollar.

It will look great pulling his communications trailer!

Can't wait to see it at Wildfire Awareness Day 2015.
