Can some help us? We have a cabin in Wrightwood and since they switched to digital TV signal we cannot receive any stations on our TV and we bought the converter box. Does anyone know if there is a signal up here anymore? I thought they said every American will have TV if you bought the converter box. It's just not worth getting Cable or Satalite for the few times we are up there.

We get feeds from Bakersfield and Barstow with a digital converter box and a homemade antenna (yep, we're nerds!). Do you have an antenna for it that picks up UHF signals?

Just a thought, did you go thru the setup proceedure? We have RCA converters and without selecting a language and then doing the channel scan, there is no output signal going to the TV.
The RCA converter also features a bar graph relative signal strength meter that can be used as an aid in tweeking the antenna direction.

Check to see if the snow or ice is a problem.

We have rabbit ears LOL, But we use to get a TV signal, not the clearest but we got TV until the change and we used the setup
I'll have to try it again when we come back up.
Thanks for the advise
