OK, I'm confused about one thing in this article.

The author states that the headwaters of the Mojave River are 15 miles west of Wrightwood.  Looking at my topo maps of the area, the Mojave headwaters appear to begin somewhere around Lake Gregory, East of Wrightwood.  15 miles west of here would be around the South Fork of the San Gabriel River.

Or am I confused?

Any enlightenment would be helpful.

Peace

The exact/close location Williamson Rocks, currently the best rock climbing location in Southern Calif. that happens to be closed. In fact the PCT has been re-routed because of the frog. Highway 2 @ Cedar Springs.
