Airplane Wrecks in S. B, County
    AT WW Historical Society

Pat Macha will be guest speaker at the next meeting of the Wrightwood Historical Society on Friday April 4 at 1 pm in the Museum meeting room (Old Firehouse), 6000 Cedar St., in Wrightwood. His topic will be Airplane Wrecks in San Bernardino County.

Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be served.

The correct date should be Friday April 4, 2014

No doubt Pat will mention the Legendary Aviatrix that crashed near Grassy Hollow in 1965.  The September 2011 Big Pines Volunteer Newsletter had a nice little article on her career:

The owner of Carrier Communications has made hiking to airplanes crashes a hobby for years.
