What the heck is with all the flies - all over town, been here 29 years never anything like this!

18 years and was thinking the same thing this morning! Was wondering if something had died and hid on my porch...

I sprayed wasp spray on the ground near my trees, in the garage, all over where they swarm. They are massive this year.

Sorry. I will try to shower more often and start using deodorant.

The flies are pretty much a syndrome throughout the Southland.  We're seeing epic hatches at our place and we spray....use fly predators and trap them.  A rainy season and good grass crop grows a good crop of flies as well.

I enjoy fly fishing and tying my own flies.  Each one helps in a small way to reduce the flies here at the ranch.

Jim... thanks for my laugh of the day. My philosophy is that:  outside they're flies... inside they're cat toys.   cheryl o7o
