Should be mandatory viewing for those who wish to remain during fire evacuations.  I did it for 45 years and this was the most terrifying footage I have ever seen.

I heartily agree with Jim. Anyone who thinks they are safe NOT evacuating, when told to do so, is just not paying attention.

Wow.

For the record, I always get the hell out of Dodge when the evac call comes. I may start doing it earlier.

Richard Hadley, a retired PIO from a Type 1 Management Team is quoted in this article.  He was part of the team that managed the Station Fire.  Interesting reading.....no matter what side of the climate change debate you sit.

This is a video of a Hot Shot fireman who responded to Paradise and what he saw and did.  He also lost his home and had his kids in school when the fire came.
