So... am I doing this Math correctly..
The salary is $37,065 per year
so pay is $3,088.25 a month
and you're only working 20 hours a week from 9-1 so a total of 80 hours a month
so divide that into $3,088.25 and your hourly pay would be $38.60? WHAT...ON MY .....HOLY BAT MOBILE...
Is not anyone wondering... what the heck...such high pay?...plus there is compensation if you use your own auto for misc driving...not to and from work, but any other mileage you may put on car and the CSD decides your pay back rate. not the IRS rate...so what is that dollar $ figure.
and they're not renewing the current GM's position....is how I understand it ...but he's welcome to apply...

Actually, it's only 4 days a week so less hours per month. However, you have to attend board meetings and special meetings and be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If the public toilets overflow on Sunday night, you have to deal with it. You have to hire and manage employees as well. This is a position for an experienced manager, not an office admin job. And there are no health or other benefits. It seems reasonable to me, mostly because of jobs I've had where I'm on call... You never feel like you are off work, hard to make plans, etc. Plus, this person has to live in our community, so there's a small talent pool. Hopefully the salary will bring a qualified person. And did you see it's only month to month? Who's going to quit their job to take this one when you never know how long you'll be employed. Plus, you have all the responsbility but can't make a lot of decisions without board approval. I hope they find someone who understands the commitment and loves our community.

Oh so I did do my Math WRONG..... I beg to differ ...there is an Office Admin out there that IS very capable of doing that job..... To say NOT a job for an office Admin is incorrect, you're stating that all Office Admins won't measure up.......many are highly qualified... Maybe you should apply.....

The important thing to keep in mind is that there are no benefits included so that can justify a higher salary. All health benefits, disability, retirement, etc. comes out of the employee's pocket. When I worked as a contractor for Northrop Grumman, my hourly rate was high, but that was all I got. No sick days, no vacation..... Anyone is employed by a large company generally has lots of benefits which can equal one-half or more of their salary. (Or at least that is how it used to be!)

That salary level is low for the type of experience you need for the position. Part-time or not. Positions like this are often advertised as part-time but in reality they are not. Sure an Administrative Assistant could do it - if that person was totally classified incorrectly. And, there should likely be a bonus for insults taken.

The hours are listed incorrectly. They are 8-1
