Title: Crystal Lake fire today 7/12/20

Today while hiking Waterman Mountain, we saw a large amount of smoke coming up from the Crystal Lake area, and eventually saw several aircraft respond about noontime. Any details available?

It is named the Bichota Fire and was reported as a wildland fire on 7-12-2020 @ 11:18.  Bichota Canyon is a tributary to the North Fork of the San Gabriel River.

Had a hose lay around it at 12:45 pm
