Title: WWII B25 headed up the pass...

For those who might be outside keeping an eye out on the fire.  It's headed for the 138/15 interchange, and heading into Phelan.

In a bit of irony, it also has a history of working as a fire bomber: https://b-25history.org/aircraft/4428938.htm

She was later rebuilt to an absolutely beautiful, highly polished aluminum bird and renamed "Old Glory"
She was on the USS Essex on it's trip to Pearl Harbor for the V-J Day commemoration.
Old Glory returned on the USS Essex to San Diego, where she fly up to Chino Airport.
She left Chino enroute Stockton where she sadly crash landed in a field near the airport.
Two members of the crew were hurt, thankfully none seriously.
But it will be a while before Old Glory flys again.
