We drove by Jackson Lake a few days ago and saw several people playing and walking on the lake.
We wondered if they saw the warning signs about the ice so we pulled over to warn them. The warning sign we saw
was very very small, about the size of a no parking sign and we only saw one.
There have been people that have died in that lake because they thought the ice
was thick enough. I thought there was a much bigger sign of warning towards the
front of the lake in the past along with some placed at the ends. Since there are not we
need to ask the powers that be for better signage before there is another
tragic accident. :o

For those that have not seen this video on Jackson Lake ice danger

Agreed that the signage is lacking as is the common sense of people who have no clue how dangerous it is to be on the ice. Concerns should be addressed to the administration of the Angeles National Forest who manages this area.

I suggest signage like there is along the lower kern showing the number of deaths
